MARGAL Prototype Demonstration - Port Applications (Harwich) Port Applications Executive overview On the 27th September 2005, the General Lighthouse Authorities of the United Kingdom and Ireland hosted the ‘Port and harbour approach - information day and demonstration” as part of the MarGal project. The event drew an audience of over 50 invited guests, drawn from European government, industry, users and service providers. The day provided the audience with information on Galileo and EGNOS, the MarGal project and the prototype. This was further enhanced with a demonstration of the prototype that enabled the audience to see a potential use for Galileo and EGNOS.
